Julien Pacaud

Julien Pacaud from Paris, France puts together beautiful collage images. I have always been a fan of collage type design work, ever since Terry Gilliam’s awesome work on the Monty Python titles and sequences way way back then.

Twist Gallery

Great architecture makes my jaw drop and thrusts upon me a sudden urge to visit and explore a space. The recently opened Twist Gallery in Norway by architects Bjarke Ingels Group BIG is such a space.

Faüna by Trüf

An ongoing side project by super talented TRÜF Creative in Santa Monica. Minimalism appeals to me, and these striking images of instantly recognisable creatures made up of so little bring me some peace.

Izett a new studio?

Izett? Yes indeed it is. After almost 12 years in Macquarie Street, the seeds of change have blown and my best friend, partner and brilliant web designer The Mighty Wonton and I have found new digs just around the corner on Izett Street, Prahran.

Maroesjka Lavigne

Stunning images from Belgian photographer Maroesjka Lavigne. Especially like her Island series which was captured while spending four months in Iceland.

Hightype

Hightype; a 3D Typefoundry! Why not. Triangle free and ready for use in a myriad of applications.

Space to Roam

SPACE TO ROAM: a tribute to public lands, a stunning video piece by Andrew Studer highlighting the otherworldly landscapes of the Southwestern America’s public lands. No CG here, just fab footage and no doubt a slight colour grade. Lovely.

Soft

Soft – an audiovisual translation of the “sense of feeling things”, I surely felt something. Snow must be coming (in the Southern Hemisphere at least). This short film from Christian Haller and Kris Lüdi left me a dribbling mess.

Elementor!

Elementor. Sounds like someone you might meet in a Conan the Barbarian film, or even one of He-man’s mates. But no, Elementor is a game changing new page builder for WordPress. I have been using it for over 6 months now, with much enthusiasm and renewed vigour.
